Healthy Eating

Healthy eating, Healthy Living

As you have already studied, it is important to choose the correct food and physical activity to keep healthy. Let's check what you have learnt!

Follow these instructions:
1. First of all, watch this video in which Rosie introduces her friends and answer these questions:

A) Tony is very disappointed, why?
        B) What is his real problem and how can he solve it?
2. Go to Food and Fuel to find out where the body gets its fuel from.

3. Now that you know where the body gets its fuel from, draw a food pyramid in which we can distinguish the five food groups and the correct portions we should eat. You can find this information in this link: Food facts

4. Find the nutrients in each of the food groups and write them next to the pyramid. Finally, explain what each of the nutrients does for your body.
5. Now that you know what food you need to be healthy, check what you have learnt and do this matching exercise to see if you recognise the nutrients in the different food shown.
You can read some pieces of advice before doing your final Quiz.
You are ready now for a final QUIZ to check how much you know about healthy eating for a healthy living!!!
